Lost.....lost.....lost.....drifting in the openness of the universe....

Well teh seminar is over and done with and it left me a lasting impression. Its funny how God can use all means to teach and also convict us.....

This guy , Bill Gothard is an excellent teacher and what he taught made so much sense and I learned alot from his teachings. Though it was a video seminar and that it was recorded many years back ( To give you an idea of how long ago it was, he was talking about records and rock music which was like in 1980s )but yet it still made sense today and it was all because he based it on the Word of God.

He also did chalk talks, meaning he would draw a picture using chalk while explaining the truths of God and at the same time sharing his personal testimonies. What is interesting is that at first you don't know what he is drawing and slowly bit by bit it becomes clearer till the last bit when he adds in teh final detail, you would go AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! ( In your mind ) And it is such a powerful tool.

Yes, it was long....Mon - Thus 7-10pm and fri & Sat was 9 am - 6pm but I learned alot about Christian living. I'm glad I was made against my will to attend this seminar.

For the entire of this week, my company will be sending me to this bible seminar teaching about values and character according to the bible. It's pretty cool and lame at the same time.

Cool in the sense that the content is good but it's more targetted towards the youth and their issues and how to use the bible to handle the issues they face in life like clothing, music, attitudes etc etc...

What is lame is that there is no speaker. Well no PHYSICAL speaker...its all on DVD.
So my company just paid $120 per person to sit down for 3 hours to watch a DVD for 6 days.....

Yar it comes with a workbook but then someone is just pressing the next button on the powerpoint slides so we just fill in the blanks. *YAWN*

The speaker was ok but a bit dry and he wasn't even looking at the camera! His eyes is always above the camera as if everyone is sitting above him....wierd.

I dunno but seems like the meeting is dead.....oh wells 5 more days to go.....( My sat is burned as well for that )

I still wanna sleep some more but I have to head to work...ZzzzZZZzzzz

Anyways we had a great time of fun ( with equal amounts of tiredness and soreness ). I believed everyone had fun and this was the first time the new GK team worked together.

Another first was trying out those new Hillsong kids songs with them and all of them had fun. Too bad 2 kids had to go home due to fever but I know they're gonna bounce back and we will see them again on sunday.

So many things to say but so little time to type it out.....So many memories.... ( Though I won't miss sleeping on the hard church floor, freezing my butt off! )

Kudos to Ps Debbie for patching everything together at such short notice. This was the shortest planning for a kids camp ever, 1 week!

Kudos to Janice for her lesson though she *COULD* have led more actions during the praise part! :p Always kanna arrowed....

Kudos to the other team memebers who gave their heart and soul into ministering to these children.

Kudos to Kelly for helping over and beyond her call of duty. She was very helpful even though she wasn't part of the GK team and she even came down to the pool games after her school. Thank God for the angels who helped us as we were all very busy indeed.

Well this si just the beginning as Ps Debbie has challenged us in the ministry to do certain things so we want this bunch of kids God has blessed us with to keep coming back to sunday school and that God will bless us with more and more....

I'm encouraged with what Dauglaus told me some while back....before City Harvest had theer big group of children ( and I mean BIG, it looks like a morning assembly when teh kids arrive for their service ) they had a small bunch.

I guess it's true that God will reward those who were faithful with little things with bigger things!

And that also means more regular prayer times, bible readings and making it on time for morning prayer! ( Target is 8.15am )

Time to let my fingers have a rest...so all GK teachers you have a good rest and I'll see ya all on zone or sunday service...MooOOOoOOoOOoOOO!

Kids camp just over....tired...happy....wished some things could have been better....but it was great fun for everyone.....

Well the programmes have been typed out and sent to everyone, managed to talk to the first team that is doing it this sunday.

What's left is just the "minor" part of rehearsing and doing a dry run of all the programmes.

2 more days.........

Flu, runny nose, cough and tummy aches.

That about sums up the weekend I had.

Here I am on a Monday morning still feeling a bit groggy from the long sleep and still having remnents of a bad cough.

Some of you might ask why not I take MC? Well with some many things to do and with the GK camp this sunday, I would want to clear as much of my stuff ASAP so that I can fully concentrate on the camp.

This camp is yet another stretching experience. No joke when that morning the detox session was about God stretching us via the lesson of the wine and the wineskin.
I guess God wants to see how we fare and how much we depend on Him cos I know if I were depend on my own, its gonna fall flat and I'm gonna be really sick!

It's good to have some familiar faces to work with like Janice and new faces like Nicholas, Hao Hong, Griffon, Zen, Ivy etc etc....

We're gonna see some new kids as well and some old kids ( Well not THAT old since she is only 9 years old )But it's great to have them back again.

Let's pray that this camp will be a success, not for our glory but for His!

Oh yar......be prepared for Royalty.......
