So now I'm the proud owner of a Creative zen vision. I know Janice has one but hers is black and mine is white.

First order of business is to jam it with MP3s and videos! I was thinking of putting in Final Fantasy the movie and Animatrix forst before putting in the big guns like Lord of the rings trilogy extended DVD version ( That will require some decoding ).

Thankfully it can play videos for 3 hours so I think I can watch 95% of 1 episode before the battery dies.....

Well I feel like that kid right now with my walk. I keep walking but seemed to have made little progress for so much effort of work and when I stop, I end up at the bottom again and I go up again......

It's called " Taking one step forward while taking three steps back "

I need to get back to praying and reading the Word of God cos I feel I have turned into the older son in the parable of the prodigal son.

Everyone knows this parable....actually the younger son was more well known than his older bro. I didn't really understand the statement made by the older brother when he complained to his father about him not getting any recongition but when his younger brother returned, there was a big party.

It wasn't until Sunday service where a guest speaker touched that subject then I began to understand. We think that only by working then can we gain God's love but then work in the form of attending service, being involved in ministry etc is good BUT God's love is unconditional.

The ending statement sums up about God's love for the lost when the father turned to his older son and said to him " With you I will always have, but my young son was once lost but now found ".

God is looking for sons and not workers or slaves.....I feel I have become too much of a worker in the children's ministry and need to just stop and smell the roses. Only then would I be able to carry on....

In the natural realm, the tornado or twister is a "weapon of mass natural destruction ". Nothing can stand in its path and it leaves a trail of devastation in its wake. However there is a calm spot in the storm which is the eye of the storm.

In life we face many difficulties, and as Christians we do have that as well in our walk with the Lord. It may come in the form of persecution, discouragments from people ( even fellow Christians ), trials and tribulations. These represent the tornadoes in our lives. When we are in the midst of it, we seem like everything is out of control and we are being tossed and turned around in this tornado....
However, right in the middle is the "I" of the storm, the great I am . God is there but to get to Him, you have to look at Him make your way there. It's gonna take a while ( days, weeks or even years ) but know this: once you are there the peace of God will take over and believe me you will come out stronger.

Well 24 sundays have passed ( or was that 25? ....but hey who's keeping count. Little Mad cow is flying home today from california back to her home pastures here. Touchdown is @ 4pm.

Little blue has been given a chance to go there for 2 weeks as well but it all depends on my job. This wednesday is my final interview where they will confirm if I get full time status so I hope everything turns out fine.

Had a great time in church on sunday and the place was packed! We had 27 friends from Sri Lanka drop by and it was good to renew and make new friendships as some had been coming to our HMI conference.

God gave a word...well 3 words in fact...HANG IN THERE!

MooooooooOooOOoOooo!

Indeed this has been a busy week and a tiring one to say the least...I'm Sooooooo looking forward to the weekend whereby I can stone. I just came out of a meeting with different goals and objectives I have to meet and well its gonna be work work work......I don't enjoy admin work much but it is necessary.

The other aspect of my work is interacting with kids is what I enjoy most and the current school I'm at is New Town Pri. I get to teach the P1 and 2s and they are simply so cute! They are a cheerful bunch and none of the Pri 1s cried at all despite teh fact that we're still in term 1. I nicknamed one of the girls as the bumblebee. Why? Cos during one of my sessions she made a buzzing sound and that nick just popped into mind. She is a bright kid too! However I have to wake up early, like 6.30 am and make my way down for their sessions. They are like my coffee, they ( the kids ) can really wake u up!

1 more day till Friday but tommorrow I have a deadline too! Ahhh the bitter sweetness of it..........

"Just when you think you have the sunday school program nailed down, God throws a curveball at ya."

That statement sums up my sunday school session yesterday. I had a little girl of 8 years old called Sherry aka Yue Yue join us. The special thing is that she is from China and she doesn't understand much English so I had to teach in Chinese BUT then one of my kids is a Singapore American so she can't understand Chinese so I had to do a translation to chinese after I said a few lines in English.

I don't know how much she got out of the session but I do know she enjoyed it especially the praise and worship session where we did " Nothing nothing ", "If you're black or white"," Woo Hoo " etc

And we also celebrated Mikayla's birthday and she was all dressed up like a princess, complete with wand.

My old partner had to step out of children's ministry for a while as he has way too many responbilities to handle ( Main P&W and zone ) so I will be having a new partner starting in April.

I will try to post up the pics of yesterdays events and Mad Cow is returning back to her home pasture in about 2 weeks time....MooOOOOoOooOOoOOoOO!

Today is the big day but its not for me....Today's the day where the A level results will be released. So all the best to two of my friends, Crystal and Melissa Guan, you guys don't need to worry cos you are gonna do great!
