Well its 4 days since we broke camp at Batam but still I'm thinking about the time I had there. The people from Grace Methodist Church were very warm and friendly towards me especially the JYs who treated me as one of their own. I have seen them before but never did get to talk to them much.

Anyways the Gracestar kids were fantastic and I had a fun time just hanging around them. I consider a great priviledge for allowing me to share with them about Jesus....well Uncle David and Dauglas did most of the teaching and praise and worship, I was more in a suporting role of writing points on the score chart and handling teh power point and playing the guitar. However this was a great experience as I learned from the best that could be offered in terms of teaching the Word to kids.

And speaking of teh kids, they were a great bunch. I took care of the girls from P4-6 and they were an excellent bunch though some seemed to be too high on sugar resulting in crazy behaviour.

On teh last night we had the baptism of the Holy SPirit and it was a fantastic experience. God's presence was really really strong evenm before we began to pray and as we prayed, kids started to fall under the annoninting and some cried and the best part was some of the younger kids saw visions....this was like WOW! I believe everyone was touched, from the youngest of 3 years old to the oldest 13. I'll try to post up the pics.

6 more days till Joanne returns! Yay!

Crunch time. I have been given the task to think up of a song/dance item for our church's christmas party come next sunday. Last year my zone did teh 12 days of christmas the food version and it was a roaring hit so this year I'm planning to follow what the SUPA leaders did which is a lightstick dance routine in the dark to the tune of the Numa Huma song.

I have till sunday to come up with the basic steps before we practice on thursday and prolly on sunday itself. I have been searching the net for some cool moves as well. And guess what??? TOUCH called me up and asked me to reply to them an email they sent to me, so I have to answer some questions and mail it back to them by 19th Dec, I guess I might get a job for them...MIGHT.......

Anyways...8 more days till Joanne returns! MOOO!

Well I'm back from Grace Methodist's church camp and it was awesome! God came and touched the children and I got touched too. I will provide more details later. Right now just let me rest.......

Well it looks like everything is back to normal again and not a moment too soon!
Tomorrow I'll be setting off to Batam to help out in Grace Methodist church's camp Children's ministry. I will be assisting Uncle David and Dauglas in the fun and wacky programme that we have lined up.

I will be taking pics with my trusty handphone and yes I'm really behind in posting up the albums...sorry about that. Prolly after everything is over then will I have time.

In the meantime keep me in prayer as I'm on the lookout for a full-time job, I sent my resume to Touch ministry but they have not gotton back to me so I guess they do not want me...Next up is a job at MOE as an admin officer.

Back to packing and I will see you guys and gals on Wednesday when I return!

I finally got my new com up and running but why is my sidebar now at the bottom? Can anyone help me out and put the sidebar back on its SIDE!?!?!

AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

That's me after trying to figure out what I did wrong after upgrading my com. To date I still have not upgraded my com yet and am writing to you on my old computer. But fear not true believers cos with some internet research I may have the answer to my problems! But that will have to wait till tommorrow morning before I try it out.

Its funny that how much hoo haa Bill Gates makes about his windows program and yet to it makes upgrading of computer parts such a FREAKING PAIN IN THE BUTT!

Who wants to reinstall the entire windows program and THEN reinstall all your applicataions and games ALL OVER AGAIN....provided you can find teh discs in teh first place.

Thankfully, there are other more knowledgable nerds out there to solve my problem without the hassle of reinstalling anything. Anyways wish me luck! MooOoOooOOoooo!

WCG came and went. "What is it?" SOme of you may ask....well its one of the biggest gaming event in the world, kinda like the Olympics for cyber althletes.
And it came to Singapore!

Some people think computer games are for kids but in actual fact the age range for people who play games are from the ages 9 to 50. Yes 50! I have met gamer grandpa and grandmas.

Yup, girls play these games too and they are equally if not better than us guys. And no they don't play those cutesey Sim games or Bejewelled ( Well some do ) but they play the same type of games as guys do and they love every minute of it!

There were 2 graffitti artists doing their thing as well and I was lucky enough to see them in action. Its pretty cool and I managed to snag a few pics of them and tehir work. I'm planning to do teh same thing for my church's sunday school room and this has been approved by my children's pastor ( in fact it was her idea! )

Singapore entered in some events and we had our first silver medalist, Tetra in the X-box Dead or Alive world championships. I was there and it pretty exciting. Everyone was cheering for the homeboy but in the end he lost 3-2 to the Japanese. But still it was quite a good haul for him as he earned US$10,000!

This was a successful event and this spells good news for gamers in Singapore that hey, this aint a waste of time but its something ( games ) that can sharpen our minds and think quickly.
